Space for a Growing Family

Located in the coastal setting of Blyth South Beach, this project was inspired by a young family’s desire for more room to grow, play, and relax. Faced with the need for a versatile living space that could keep up with the demands of family life, they entrusted us to extend their home and create a new heart for the property.

A Bright and Airy Transformation The core of this project involved a significant rear extension designed to maximise both space and natural light. We created a spacious new kitchen and sitting area, perfectly suited for supervising young children or unwinding after a busy day. To ensure the space feels open and vibrant, we installed a stunning roof lantern and bifold doors, which flood the room with sunlight and create a seamless connection to the outdoors.

Modern Comfort and Style No detail was overlooked in ensuring the space is as comfortable as it is beautiful. We installed underfloor heating throughout the extension to keep the room cosy year-round, finished with durable yet stylish floor tiles that can withstand the traffic of family life. Our team also fitted a contemporary new kitchen, blending practicality with modern design aesthetics.

Outdoor Living To complement the interior transformation, we also developed the outside area. A new patio was laid, providing the perfect transition from the indoor sitting area to the garden, ideal for summer days and family barbecues.
